Forklift Driver (American Canyon)

Seeking a candidate to perform operational functions required for all aspects of shipping, receiving, order pulling, and accurate inventory in the warehouse while putting a priority on the care, custody, and control of the customer’s product. We take pride on the duties we fulfill specially to accommodate our customers’ needs.

Duties Include:
• Load and unload trucks
• Pull and shrink wrap orders, tag and stage orders
• Stack or down stack wine as needed (pallets of wine)
• Clear space for incoming product
• Receive and put away wine as indicated
• Write up all proper information regarding wines description on receiving form
• Checking with Supervisor at beginning of shift for specified duties
• Forklift inspection every day at beginning of shift
• Be on time for scheduled shift Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
• Forklift experience is needed, wine experience is a plus
• Forklift clamp experience is a plus
• Ability to lift repetitive from 20 to 60 lbs.
• Ability to understand and follow safety procedures
• Ability to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers
• Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic
• Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel.
• Ability to work under pressure
